Eye makeup is often the key for your whole makeup. Applying it right, your makeup will be upgraded, otherwise… So things can go horribly wrong even scary if you choose the inappropriate eyeshadow or those you are not able to master. Don’t worry, with my following guides to a perfect eye makeup, you won’t make yourself a fool anymore. Now grab your eyeshadow palettes out and move! A tip goes first: Finish your eye makeup first and then move on to your base makeup in case there’s a fallout around your eyes that damage your base makeup.
Tools : moisturizer, eye cream, eyeshadow palette, eye makeup brushes, eyeliner, mascara
- Base: Clean the area around the eyes then apply a moisturizer. Plus an eye cream will be better. Then prep the eye area with an eye primer to help makeup stay put for a longer time.
- Choose Eyeshadow: You should analyze the shape of your eyes and accordingly decide on a shade. Then usetechnique that will enhance them. You know which shade or texture to use according to the features of your eyelid, crease, and the brow bone. Such as using frost/shimmer/shine on the eyelid and brow bone, and matte eyeshadow palette for the crease.
- Dark Shade for the Crease: Use a darker shade in the crease area to define the eye shape, which should be like deep browns, black, deep gray, dark purple and so on. Then apply it from the outer corner of the eye, make a V and blend it halfway through the eyelid with a fluffy eyeshadow blending brush. In order to highlight the brow bone, go for lighter shades in either frost or shimmer textures.
- Eyeliner: Draw eyeliner along the eyes using small strokes. You can decide the style of your eyeliner according to your makeup features. Draw it light or heavy is all on you this time, if you are going to a party, you can make it exaggerated. Remenber to start from the outer corner and draw it slowly.
